Island bench in fog, Woodbridge North Lake, Fall 2005.
Nikon N65 @ 85mm, Fuji Acros film.

Foggy sunrises are a very rare occurence here in Orange County. I think we may get one or two per year. I was lucky enough to catch one back in the fall of 2005, and it was quite a sensory overload. I composed this picture because it gave importance to the empty bench and the sun as it attempts to burn through the fog. I wanted to capture the "action" of sunrise while at the same time pointing out that so few people are awake at such an hour to enjoy it...
