I think it could be one of your best shots. I really like it, it's so pristine, but I think that a small border could really help it. Nice though man, great shot, and sorry for the lack of comments.

This is absolutely breathtaking. The colors are almost unreal. You really captured the moment here.
Great shot

Thank you very much! It's one of my favorites too. I love these swans, I see them together a lot during mornings...

Take care,

Borders, borders, borders!

Well, if you want to see it with a border, you'll have to come to the last exhibition I'm going to do, in January. There, you can glimpse this photo 20x30" with a nice mat around it.

Maybe I SHOULD put borders around my photos since I so highly promote them framed with mats anyway. But then the "other half" of the viewers who don't prefer borders would speak up. Oh well, I'll just keep things consistent. My point is, the final editing things like sharpening, borders etc. shouldn't make too big a difference when viewing an image because they're totally irrelevant from what the actual print looks like...

Take care,
-Matt-

Very nice. Simple and effective. Put your right hand just a little bit past the swan on the right and cover the rest of the picture. That's a powerful crop too isn't it?

A vertical panorama of the left edge? Hmmm, I like the idea. But it would be like a 1 megapixel image, lol. If I still had the 80-400 I might have been able to snap that off but I was shooting with the Sigma 150mm...

Speaking of lenses that I don't own, I'm gonna rent the 12-24 (Nikon) for this coming weekend, it should be great! What with the cloudy weather, moonrise at sunset on the 16th, there should be some spectacular opportunities if all goes well...
